National Impaired Driving Prevention Month

President Biden has issued a proclamation designating December 2024 as National Impaired Driving Prevention Month, urging all Americans to take action to prevent impaired driving and save lives. Each year, more than 13,000 people lose their lives in drunk or drug-impaired driving accidents—tragedies that are entirely preventable.

In his proclamation, President Biden emphasizes the importance of driving sober, planning ahead, and holding ourselves and others accountable to keep roads safe. He also highlights the Administration's ongoing efforts to improve roadway safety, combat impaired driving, and invest in technologies to prevent crashes.

This holiday season, let’s honor the call to action by making responsible choices behind the wheel. Together, we can reduce these preventable tragedies and create safer roads for everyone. Click HERE to read the full proclamation.
